Our Purpose

• To Provide a forum for the exchange of ideas beneficial to the Grand Representative,
  
  
• To work for the good of the Order, bringing love, happiness and enthusiasm to every Grand Jurisdiction of our Order throughout the United States, Canada, Scotland, Puerto Rico, the United Grand Chapter of Australia, Sao Paulo, and Bolivia, also

• To promote interest in our General Grand Chapter and support its officers.

What is the International Grand Representatives Association?
Who are International Grand Representatives?

International Grand Representatives are living symbols of the Eastern Star Friendship Chain: they are links that extend throughout the world! The International Grand Representatives are Messengers, who bring glad tidings "Peace on Earth, Good Will Toward Mankind" by extending the tokens of friendship wherever their travels take them. They represent Charity, Truth, Loving Kindness, Smiles, Hugs, Handshakes, Fun, Laughter, Fidelity, Constancy, Loyalty and Faith.

The International Grand Representative Association is comprised of present and former commissioned Grand Representatives who support General Grand Chapter and promote fraternal relations between Grand Jurisdictions through communicating, visiting, and exchanging ideas.

The International Grand Representatives Association is a viable organization recognized by General Grand Chapter. The Association is governed by its own officers and its Bylaws.

You may ask, "What do I, as a member, get from belonging the International Grand Representatives Association?" First, you will receive an annual communication from the IGRA President. Secondly, and most importantly, you will receive and experience something intangible for this membership is not something you can hold in your hand; it is something you hold in your heart.
